Mineral is the singer songwriter project by Nikhil Gaikwad. Raised on spirituals and half-trained classically, he's moving into improvised and folk music and freer forms in his songwriting. Sometimes oblique, his music experiments with a mixed bag of timbres and idioms to express the places he's coming from.
An experimental take on music that meditates on the topics of solitude and personal truth. The music is all at once repeating itself and constantly changing - textures, samples, and harmonies are weaving in and out seamlessly while Mineral and Urvashi quietly profess themselves.
